"Party People" - Adam Smasher & Hawke
12” vinyl release - Sunburn Recordings
"Party People" was written as a call out to the millions of party people to realize their strength in numbers. Upon the news of Donnie Estopinal's indictment earlier this year, Smasher (aka KatoSpace) and Hawke (aka Gavin Hardkiss) wrote the song specifically for the cause of challenging the indictment and what it represented. Adam Smasher is an ambassador of the Huebeing Embassy, an arts and media collective. The 12" for "Party People" will be released in October, a full length album will follow. Hawke and Adam Smasher both say once again - "You know who you are. . . the ability to peacefully come together through dance and music is a powerful thing; just look at how 1.5 million people come together at Love Parade." KatoSpace and Gavin Hardkiss are donating 25% of their publishing royalties from "Party People" to EM:DEF.
